A portfolio view that shows what you are actually exposed to, not just what you own. Positions are the surface; the sectors, currencies, regions and risks underneath them are what moves your money.
Decision quality for private investors
Was it judgement, or was it luck? Most portfolios cannot answer that. The record of why each decision was made is gone, and in hindsight the two look identical.
A portfolio view that shows what you are actually exposed to, not just what you own. Positions are the surface; the sectors, currencies, regions and risks underneath them are what moves your money.
Coffee is priced on it — farm, lot, altitude, year. A figure deserves the same treatment: every number leads back to the document it came from, its source and its date. One you cannot follow to its origin is an opinion wearing a decimal point.
You can see how a score was reached and what it assumes. No black box, no proprietary magic you have to take on faith. Where a method has limits, we would rather show them than hide them.
Decisions are recorded when they are made, with the reasoning intact — not reconstructed afterwards, when the outcome is already known. Over time that separates judgement that worked from judgement that was merely fortunate.
Discipline fails in the moment it matters — when a position is down and the reasoning suddenly feels negotiable. Set the rules in advance: when to trim, when to re-enter, what to leave alone. Start from established practice or write your own. Either way they are on the record, and a decision that departs from them is visible as one.
Models work through the documents — research, reports, the material nobody has time for — and surface what bears on your positions. Comprehension is what AI is genuinely good at, and it is the part of the work that scales worst by hand.
Advisers, family, the friend whose judgement you trust — each with access you define, scoped to what you want them to see, and withdrawn when you say so.
Behind every move there is a mechanism — a rate decision, a currency, a supply shock, a position everyone held at once. We name the mechanism rather than the outcome, and we do it every time. What accumulates over years is not a list of trades but a working sense of how markets pass a shock along.
